I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve done a free pattern on my blog, so it’s about time! What could be better for a free pattern right now than something Fall related. So, I present you the Pumpkin Crochet Pattern. Pumpkins are one of my favorite symbols of Fall. They’re even more fun when they’re in different colors, whether traditional colors, or not!
Materials for the Pumpkin Crochet Pattern
- Any worsted weight yarn in whatever colors you’d like to make your pumpkin
- Yardage Needed:
- Pumpkin: 68 yards
- Stem: 4 yards
- Leaf: 2 yards
- Yardage Needed:
- 4.0 mm crochet hook
- Fiber fill/stuffing
- Tapestry needle
15 single crochet stitches x 13 rows = 4″
Notes before you begin the Pumpkin Crochet Pattern
- The pumpkin is worked in continuous rounds.
- Because of the number and tightness of stitches, the project will curl up in the beginning. Keep going and it will work out.
- If you want to make your pumpkin larger or smaller, you can change the size of your yarn and/or hook size.
