If you’re looking for a super basic pattern to start learning how to work in rounds, this crochet dish scrubbie free pattern is it! As an added bonus, the finished product will make a great addition to your household, or a great gift idea!
As a note on this pattern, please be mindful when using the finished product around high heat, as nylon melts around 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Let’s get started!

Notes: Chains at the beginning of each round do not count as a stitch throughout the pattern.
SMALL CROCHET DISH SCRUBBIE FREE PATTERN

Instructions:
Chain 2, or MC.
Round 1: 6 SC in 2nd chain from hook (or in MC.) Slip stitch in first SC to join. – 6 stitches
Round 2: Chain 1. 2 SC in each stitch around. Sl st in first SC to join. – 12 stitches
Round 3: Chain 1. SC in next stitch. 2 SC in next around. Sl st in first SC to join. – 18 stitches
Round 4: Chain 1. SC in next 2 stitches, 2 SC in next around. Sl st in first SC to join. – 24 stitches
Round 5: Chain 1. SC in each stitch around. Sl st in first SC to join. – 24 stitches
Round 6: Chain 1. SC in next 2 stitches, INV DEC in next around. Sl st in first SC to join. – 18 stitches
Round 7: Chain 1. SC in next stitch, INV DEC in next around. Sl st in first SC to join. – 12 stitches
Round 8: Chain 1. INV DEC 6 times. Sl st in first SC to join. – 6 stitches.
Fasten off, leaving a longer tail. Weave tail through the front loops of each stitch, then pull to tighten. Weave in tail.
LARGE-SIZE SCRUBBIE

Instructions:
Chain 2, or MC.

Round 7: Chain 1. SC in next 3 stitches, INV DEC in next around. Sl st in first SC to join. – 24 stitches
