What is Bookcase.Club?
Bookcase.Club is a subscription service that offers a surprise box of books each month. Unlike other subscriptions where you get to pick your book, with this subscription box, you just pick your genre, and let them choose your books for you. As hesitant as you may be to try it this way, I’ve enjoyed reading books that I wouldn’t normally choose. In each box, you receive two books. For Bookcase Kids, you’ll receive three books, one of which is typically an activity-type book.
What kind of books does the Bookcase.Club subscription have?
Bookcase.Club Adults
For the adults, you can choose between four different genres, or what they classify as themes. Those are:
- Booking for Love (Romance)
- Surprise-Me Fiction (Fiction)
- Strange Worlds (Sci-Fi/Fantasy)
- Thrill-Seeker (Mystery/Thriller)
Bookcase.Club Teen/Young Adult
This book subscription box also features an option for young adults/teens. There isn’t a genre option here; they just use the Young Adult genre to send your young adult their picks each month. This box also contains two novels each month.
Bookcase Kids
For the Bookcase Kids subscription box, you choose the age range. You also choose between boys and girls. There isn’t a genre option here, either, but from our experience with this subscription box, they do a good job of picking between activity, fiction, and non-fiction. Here are the age ranges they have to choose from:
- Newborn – 2 Years Old
- 2 – 4 Years Old
- 5 – 6 Years Old
- 7 – 8 Years Old
- Pre-Teen

Do I have to get a box every month?
No! You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. Also, look into the bi-monthly option if you don’t want books EVERY month.
